Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider (processor): [Provider]. When you access the website, the server automatically collects information that your browser transmits and stores it in server log files. This includes in particular the IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested URL, the amount of data transferred, the referrer, and details of your browser and operating system.

The processing serves to provide the website, to ensure system security and stability, and for error analysis. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and functional operation pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The log data is deleted automatically after a short period unless it is needed to clarify a specific security incident.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. Neither our own nor third-party cookies are stored, and there is no cookie consent banner because there is no reason for one.

For the light/dark colour scheme toggle, a single entry is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) under the key “tni-theme”. This entry contains only the value “light” or “dark”, is not transmitted to us or to third parties, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. It is not a cookie within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG.

Fonts

The Poppins font family used here (weights 400, 500 and 600) is loaded exclusively from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts and no data is transmitted to Google or any other third party.

No external services

This website loads no resources from external servers. There is no content delivery network, no external scripts, no social media plugins, and no embedded maps, videos or font services. Accessing the site contacts our own server only.

Analytics with Plausible Analytics (optional)

Analytics is switched off by default. While it is disabled, no analytics script is loaded and no measurement takes place whatsoever.

If analytics is enabled for this site, we use Plausible Analytics – a cookieless solution. Plausible processes no personal data: no cookies are set, there is no cross-site or cross-device tracking, and no user profiles are created. Only aggregated information such as page views, referrers and device category is evaluated. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in a privacy-friendly, statistical evaluation of usage pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

The analytics script is not loaded from Plausible's servers but served through our own domain (proxy or self-hosted instance). Even with analytics enabled, no connection to a third-party origin is established. We do not use an analytics service that builds personal profiles (such as Google Analytics).

Contact by e-mail or telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the data you provide (your e-mail address or phone number as well as your name and the content of the message) in order to handle your request. Depending on the matter, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual request or contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your request).

The data is deleted once your request has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Newsletter signup for reglr (Ghost on reglr.eu)

On the reglr solution page (/en/solutions/reglr) you can sign up via a form for updates on the launch and the Kickstarter campaign. The form on this website transmits the email address you enter directly to the Ghost system on reglr.eu; the signup is processed and stored there.

The controller for this processing is Telekommunikations & Netzwerk Infrastruktur UG (haftungsbeschränkt), the same entity that operates this website. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by submitting the form.

Signup uses double opt-in: after submitting the form you will receive an email from reglr.eu containing a confirmation link (magic link); your address only joins the distribution list once you click it. We use the address exclusively for updates on Kickstarter, development, and launch.

This website stores no data about the signup: no cookie and no localStorage entry is set, and no connection to reglr.eu is made before you deliberately submit the form. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email; your address is then deleted from the Ghost system on reglr.eu.

No own newsletter system, no profiling, no advertising

Beyond the reglr signup described above, we operate no newsletter of our own and no mail-sending system of our own. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. There is no advertising or tracking processing, and no data is sold or transferred to third parties for advertising purposes.

Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • Access to the processed data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Complaint to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority competent for us is: [Authority].

Changes to this privacy policy

We will update this privacy policy as soon as the processing described here changes – for example if the optional analytics is enabled or the technology used changes. The version published on this page applies in each case.
