IoT platform from sensor to frontend
Design and operation of a complete IoT stack: LoRaWAN integration, backend, frontend dashboard, operations and team leadership.
-
The starting point
Measurement data existed, but the path from the measuring point to the application was missing. There was no consistent radio link, no backend and no dashboard – every station was a one-off.
-
Our approach
We designed the complete stack from sensors to interface: a LoRaWAN radio network, data intake in the backend and a dashboard for the daily view of the readings.
-
What we built
The result is a single end-to-end platform. LoRaWAN sensors send over the radio network into a backend that stores and serves the data; a frontend dashboard makes it visible. Design and operation sat with us, together with the technical leadership of the team.
-
Outcome & lesson
The end-to-end stack holds up: new measuring points can be added without rebuilding every step. The lesson: end-to-end responsibility for sensors, backend and interface only pays off in operation – which is why we keep supporting the system.
