Technical features

What makes the thermostat special

  • Self-charging. Forever.

No batteries, no cable – the thermostat harvests its own energy and just keeps running.

  • Product render: reglr thermostat from the front with wave-textured cap and reglr logo
  • 100 % open source

Schematics, PCB layouts, firmware and payload decoder: fully open to inspect and modify.

  • Installation without specialists

Fits almost any radiator and installs with standard tools – adapters for all common types included.

  • Noticeably lower heating costs

Simple and effective – used correctly, it noticeably cuts energy use.

  • App, cloud and E2E

Optional app with cloud connection including alerts on unusual behaviour – communication encrypted end to end from device to app.

  • Updates via FUOTA

Firmware updates wirelessly over the air – always current.

  • Frost and pin protection

Detects frost risk automatically and exercises the pin regularly in summer so it does not seize up.

  • Sustainable & durable

The internal buffer cell can simply be swapped at end of life – instead of replacing the whole device.

  • Designed in Germany

reglr is a product of Telekommunikations & Netzwerk Infrastruktur (TNI) UG (haftungsbeschränkt) – designed and engineered in Germany, with quality and care in every detail.

    • Founded and grown in Saxony
    • Built on years of IoT experience – including a Leipzig IoT startup that raised over €2M in funding
    • A brand of TNI UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Chemnitz
